Influence of Different Carbon and Nitrogen Sources on Insoluble Inorganic Phosphate Solubilization by Bacillus Subtilis

چکیده
Phosphate solublization activity of Bacillus subtilis in different carbon and nitrogen sources with insoluble form of phosphate sources like tricalcium phosphate and rock phosphate were studied. TCP solubilization with different carbon sources irrespective of incubation period can be related in the following order: glucose, fructose, arabinose, mannose, sucrose, lactose, and sorbitol. The pH drifted from neutral to acidic with all carbon sources in presence of TCP. All the sugars with rock phosphate did not have any marked influence on phosphate solubilization activity. Regarding TCP and RP solubilization with different nitrogen sources maximum solubilization was recorded in the presence of ammonium sulphate. Bacillus subtilis showed maximum PS with glucose and ammonium sulphate. RP solubilization in liquid medium was very slow.

Phytase can improve the nutritional value of plant-based foods by enhancing protein digestibility and mineral availability through phytate digestion in the stomach and the food processing industry. Microbial sources are more promising for the production of phytases on a commercial scale. The objectives of this exploration were to screening and isolation of phytase-producing bacteria from hot sp...

Abstract Many agricultural researches have been performed to improve soil productivity. Nitrogen (N) and Phosphorus (P) are essential elements which are utilized by the plants in large amounts. Phosphorus can be provided by applying chemical fertilizers. Microorganisms convert insoluble phosphate to the soluble form and some bacteria such as rhizobacteria play an important role in this proces...

The efficacy of strains of Pseudomonas fluorescens, Bacillus megaterium and Azospirillum spp. in in vitro solubilization of Ca3PO4 was studied. Pseudomonas fluorescens and Bacillus megaterium strains were the most powerful phosphate solubilizers on Pikovskaya (PVK) plates and liquid medium. Azospirillum lipoferum strains showed weak zones of solubilization on the PVK plates. Phosphate solubiliz...
